A drift over coral gardens at the northeastern tip of the archipelago. Turtles, dolphins, lunch on the boat.
Mnemba is a private island ringed by the best-preserved reef in Zanzibar. We don’t land — the island itself is a conservation lease — but we drift the outer walls at two different spots, catching the morning light and the early tide before the day boats show up. Our captain has been running this route for fourteen years.
Runs year-round, though we may reshuffle the order depending on wind, tide, and crowds. If you want something even quieter, ask about our off-peak versions — same places, fewer other boats.
